What you will see:
Sabbath song is situated among the beautiful hills in Bracken County Kentucky on over 200 acres of sacred space holding a rich history. You will have time to explore in addition to program activities.
A guided trail ride is included with your retreat and will be facilitated by the professionals of Wildfire Equestrian on Saturday Afternoon. In addition to the trail ride, we will have an opportunity to observe the horses while grazing in the pastures and interact directly with them on Friday night for the opening circle.
What you will do:
Allow yourself to let go of obligations and overwhelm. Unplug and soak in the energy of earth, art and animals. Enjoy a mix of art and writing, conversation and reflection, connection with other caring women, quiet meditation and a guided trail ride!
Meals are included for the weekend. Breakfast and lunch service will be less formal and we will share responsibility for clearing the tables and tidying up. Evening meals will be prepared and served family style at the table. A refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and tea kettle are available for use during your stay.
What to pack:
Pack clothes suitable for the weather (Brooksville, KY) and indoor-outdoor farm style play. We will be painting, so bring something that won’t be ruined by a potential paint splatter. You MUST wear closed-toe shoes while interacting with the horses; no sandals, flip flops or crocs. Long pants are most comfortable for riding. Other items to pack include sunscreen and bug repellent for outdoor options and a re-fillable water bottle.
All materials and art supplies are provided… Feel free to pack your own journal if you have one.
